Any of these problems sound familiar?

Problem: I feel that I really do practice or play golf frequently yet I’m not seeing any change in my game. How can I improve?

Answer:  In this case it would be a good idea to go back to the basics as they say. Review your golf fundamentals and it wouldn’t hurt to have a professional take a look at your moves as well. Don’t feel ashamed of showing your moves to a pro. A number of beginners meet problems when they are shy about their moves and are hesitant to meet up with a pro. This is exactly what brings them down. You want to get the most out of your meeting with a pro golfer, so don’t be ashamed of showing your moves. How can they point out what’s wrong in order to help you correct your errors if you won’t show them? Take note of where exactly you lose strokes and you should focus on your improvement in these particular places in the game. Many golf dilemmas start with stance and grip. You should take a look at these first. Use 80 percent of your strength when you are swinging and make sure that it is at the right tempo.

Problem: I’m missing putts all the time, irregardless if they’re left or right. What can I do to help this?

Answer: This kind of problem can be related to where your eyes are positioned. It depends on how your eyes are looking over the ball. When your eyes are within the target line to the cup, your putts may tend to the right. But when your eyes are outside the target line, your putts can tend to the left. What you are aiming for here is that your eyes are looking directly over the ball.

Bad Tempo...

Problem: My shots seem to be going wayward because of my bad timing and speed of golf swing.

Answer: All the elements of your golf swing should be in harmony in order for you to get the best out of your moves. These elements may be collectively referred to as tempo. Usually, bad tempo comes from a fast swing which may be made because of wanting to make a far hit or due to anxiety. Instead of using your hands and arms, swing the club with your body and leg muscles in order to improve your issues with tempo. Swing with 80 percent of your strength, thinking that you are utilizing a seven-iron and don’t hurry your downswing. Begin your downswing with your hips and legs as your arms fall into hitting position just as you let your strength rip.

Going Left!...

Problem: My ball seems to go straight but the problem is it’s also constantly going to the left of the target.

Answer: This is normally the case when you are hurrying your downswing or possibly just swinging very hard. You must let your lower body lead in the right tempo, so it is your hands and arms which are guiding the clubhead toward the correct swingpath.

You should also make sure that your backswing has enough coil, in order to avoid a pulled shout which may result from an out-to-in swingpath.
